It is no secret that many dogs are literally addicted to physical activity. They are at their happiest when they can spend a lot of time running around and doing other things. So how can this be combined with a dog owner who is addicted to footbiking? The answer is mushing! You can rest assured that the new KOSTKA MUSHING RACER PRO (G6) footbike will give both you and your canine friend a rush of adrenaline to the bloodstream. We have long been involved in making footbikes with sprung front forks that are equipped with a lead for a dog. However, the new KOSTKA MUSHING RACER PRO (G6) model has taken the terrain riding experience to a whole new level. We have equipped this model with a 27.5” front wheel and a 24” rear wheel, because large wheels turn more quickly and are better at dealing with uneven terrain. Obstacles, which previously had to be ridden over cautiously and slowly, can now be taken at full speed. Simply choose the optimal pressure in the Schwalbe Smart Sam terrain tyres according to the nature of the ride surface and they will reward you with excellent traction in synergy with a low rolling resistance. The Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes provide safe braking and stopping, even under the most demanding conditions. They will literally bring you to a stop on dry, muddy or even wet surfaces.

The front air fork with 100 mm of travel is equipped with a lockout on the handlebars – this means you won’t lose any precious energy from rebounds. The fork is mounted in a semi-integrated headset that significantly increases the rigidity of the entire front fork/footbike frame and also provides a more precise steering response. The rigidity of the sixth generation frame has also been tangibly increased. The deck surface has received a new central profile, while the CNC-milled heel stop is not only highly functional, but also a design element on every footbike.

The control of the machine is fully in your hands thanks to the 720 mm wide, slightly oversized handlebars equipped with rubber grips with safety collars to prevent them from spontaneous twisting. The grips are easy to hold, even when wearing gloves. The short stem increases the overall rigidity of the steering and contributes to its precision. Naturally, a dog lead holder integrated into the main tube under the handlebars comes as standard on the KOSTKA MUSHING RACER PRO (G6) footbike. The footbike is supplied with an easy-to-remove lead adapter made of sprung steel, plus a lockable lead. The lead complies with the standards prescribed by both Czech and international associations. This means that you and your dog can head off to a mushing race as soon as you have unpacked your new machine.
